REMOTE LEARNING RESOURCES
In this section we have put together what we hope is useful guidance for accessing the remote learning resources (Google Classroom for Y1-6 and Tapestry for EYFS). We will keep this updated as we discover more about what works well and as more guidance is produced.
Using Google Classrooms and Tapestry enables teachers and pupils to continue to communicate despite not being in the same place. We feel that remote learning works best when children are still able to get feedback from their teachers by uploading the work they have completed, helping to keep them motivated and working. The children will be able to view the tasks that have been set, which can then be completed away from the screen on paper and a photo of the outcome can then be ‘handed in’. We believe that this way of working will enable the teacher to adapt the tasks to best meet the needs of the children as they can see what the children are producing at home.
National lockdowns are also a time where people’s mental health can be impacted upon significantly. We will also use this page of the website to share resources that may help.
